Halibut fishing in Homer, Alaska
on the “Beausoleil

“Fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.” . Ed Zern

A true Alaskan born in the small (it was then in Territorial days) community of Anchorage some 200 miles north of Homer, Mike moved to Homer in 1974. Mike has been running a charter boat in Homer since 1979. Although still “39” he's really only as young as he feels. He prides himself on not following the charter fleet. The list of his “secret spots” is as long as your arm and coveted by many anglers and guides alike.

“If I had been a bottle baby, I would have fished in my formula” Bob Elliot

Once again you are encouraged to make your reservations early, don't forget some of our best weather is in May (cheaper too). If you need more information on making a reservation, write, or e-mail me at: captmike@alaska.net

“I came from a race of fishers, trout streams gurgled about the roots of my family tree.”
John Burroughs 1884
